The Power of Audacious Faith

The Power of Audacious Faith

Do you want it badly?   How hard are you willing to work for it?

The Power of Audacious Faith

The Power of Audacious Faith ~ Some of us have been taught from early in our youth that we should pray to GOD to help us with the things that may be difficult in our lives. That we should also pray for spiritual and financial blessings that we may desire. Whatever it may be from the simplest things to those things that are extremely difficult to obtain.

I, too, am one that believes in the power of prayer! I believe that we must commune with GOD as often as possible. My wonderful grandmother, now deceased, Alberta Morning, would always say to me, “Never forget to pray” That alone helped me through thoughts of suicide and many other hopeless moments in my life.

When we communicate with GOD about the things that really matter to us, we become in fellowship with him. We build a relationship with him.  In doing so, we are admitting to GOD that we can’t do it all alone and we also admit that we need our Creator. This type of relationship creates a sense of being grounded that this world can’t take away.

Now in writing all of this – I don’t want to paint a picture that everything will just come to you easily and effortlessly.  Please understand that prayer without works is dead! James 2:14 declares, “What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?”

Take me for example, if I had listened to my grandmother and prayed all day long for GOD to heal my suicidal thoughts yet I didn’t put in the necessary work to change my thoughts, mentally, I wouldn’t be here today. If I didn’t forgive the person or people that hurt me then I would still be playing the victim and they would still have negative power over me — then I wouldn’t be the healthy, thriving and strong woman that I am today.

GOD needs to see his people put our faith and belief in his power to work! I had to declare that the pain of my past would not control my future and or my happiness.

If I wanted something I had to go out and get it! I couldn’t just sit there passively and say, Lord, I want to be a college graduate yet I never set foot on a college campus.  I can’t just pray that I want to be in a successful marriage yet I don’t prepare my heart, mind and spirit. How can I expect to receive something that I am not even in a position to receive?

The point I am trying to make here is that if there is anything worth having then it is worth fighting for. I am challenging everyone reading this message that if there is anything that you want, a good thing, of course, pray about it first then go out and get it!

Our people have been passive for way too long! Our time has come!

Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go
for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused ..
    Any ideas? Thanks a lot!
